O potencial produtivo de uma lavoura se inicia no plantio
A variabilidade de distribuição espacial de plantas medidas pelo coeficiente de variação interfere diretamente no rendimento de grãos da cultura do milho, e quanto maior for este coeficiente, menor será a produtividade. Para cada 1% de aumento no coeficiente de variação da distribuição espacial de plantas na linha, há um decréscimo na produtividade na faixa de 16 a 29 kg.ha-1.
